I would suggest two possibilities:
1) adjust the camera's white balance, assuming it has that ability
2) download Picasa2 free from Google, load your pictures into it, and use the white balance device to adjust the color balance to your liking. Simple and free. Picasa2 does a lot more as well. Plus once you decide how much color change you want, you can batch process the whole bunch at once. Picasa2 is the exception that proves the rule about getting what you pay for!

Keep in mind that this color balance "problem" is typically due to the difference in light sources -- daylight, flash, incandescent, fluorescent, cloudy outdoors, .....

If your camera is really messed up causing this problem, you might want to RESET the camera to its default values (like rebooting a computer). You might have to read the manual to find out how to do this, but most cameras will reset if you take the batteries out for several minutes and replace them making sure they are fully charged. Just turning the camera off without removing the batteries won't do it.

Sorry I can't be more specific to your camera, but it came out before I got into photography so I haven't any knowledge of that particular model.

First thing I would do is reset the camera. This is a fairly easy procedure which involves either going into your setup menu and choosing "reset" (or intialize), holding down the menu key for 5 seconds, or, removing the batteries for a few minutes. It may be that the firmware loading got corrupted and the camera just needs to be "rebooted," which is something that turning it on/off won't accomplish. But after which, you should have the camera reset to factory default settings.

Another tip is to go to Sony's website and look for firmware updates. Download and install them.
