the display is black

I have the problem with a dark LCD screen when trying to take pictures or movies. LCD works fine when displaying pictures that were taken before. Now all new picutres or movies save as dark / black frames.

I would suggest getting it serviced at a camera shoot it sounds like your LCD is warn out or there could be a bad connection in the camera. Nothing you could fix at home, sorry.

Make sure that you don't have the LCD turned off. If there is a Display button or similar, push it to see if it's off and to turn it back on.
