Why my camera won't charge?

There are a couple different reasons that your camera might not be charging. First, ensure that you don't turn your camera on when you charge it, it will not charge when on. After inserting the battery, just plug the camera in. An orange light should come on above the display screen. It should take approximately 200 minutes for the first charge to complete (from the "Read This First" manual supplied with the camera). The light will go off when the battery is fully charged. You might want to check for a dirty DC adaptor also. You can find instructions for cleaning it in your instruction manual on page 92.
