disconnect lens sutter motor
(unhappy - 8/19/06)after reading all the complaints on here i agree that there should be a recall on the lens shutter problem!sony should stand by there products.however a helpful hint for some ppl that have some degree of manual dexterity,i took my camera apart and opened the lens shutter by hand,then disconnected the plug to the lens shutter motor(or else it will keep trying to close it) and it seems to work fine like this.at least i can take pics now.the only drawback is that now i have no audio on my video clips
