can i used a camera DSC-P52 as a webcam?

You can use just about any camera as a webcam. All you essentially need is a bunch of images that feed through a program in a computer. Just google some programs, there are some free ones and some you have to pay for, and then use those in combination with your camera to make it into a webcam.

I know Smart Cam was one of the programs that could do this. Past that I'm not really sure anymore, a lot of programs have been discontinued because of the lack of compatibility with newer digital cameras. You can also buy a webcam for $10-20 at Best Buy, so that's also an option. There are also ways of taking apart your digital camera and turning it into a webcam, but that's a hassle, and its much easier to just buy a cheap one.
