When the computer reads the card reader as 'E' drive, it shows that you have successfully established connections between the two.

The next step is to read the pictures files using Windows command.
Click 'My Computer' icon on the desktop, if you are using Windows 2000, or go to
Start > My Computer if you are using XP.

You will be able to see all the pictures in the E drive.

2. Coming back to the subject of ' when I try to add pics it says there is no pictures', it is possible that you could be using the DCS-P52 software to read the picture files from a card reader.

A better way is to download and install Picasa2 from the internet. Picasa2 will detect the picture files in card readers and load them to the computer for you.

Dear Bukit97...Thank you for your time and info...that was fast! lol Come to find out...my camera is 4 years old, we bought it used. Anyway, the memory stick is just a hair smaller than the new ones and the reader was unable to detect it was inputed. So...I ended up getting the cord with the usb connect on one end and the smaller connect on the other to plug into my camera and dowloaded my pics that way. It worked out perfect....i downloaded the free software from the kodak easy share. I printed some pics on my HP office jet and they look great! Thanks again...Meg
