Great Camera

This camera takes great pictures and okay videos. The only problem I had was the lens extension and retraction speeds are slow. I also had the lens go out on me after three years and thousands of pictures both here and abroard in sandy areas. Parts are easily available on line (auction sites) and are inexpensive. Flash works great, time between shots is a little slow. Red Eyes Reduction fails once in awhile. The LCD is sometimes hard to use during daytime. I have not deal with the Sony Service Center so I cannot comment on that.

The main point here is users must pay attention to their setup and read the guide book.
