DSC-H2 Internal memory says no file w/ blue screen how do I erase this?

I have been trying to figure out how to erase this forever. I think it is a file in a folder. I have already reset and formatted the camera.

I would think the ' no file ' statement is a message sent out by the firmware, not from a file in a folder.
This message will not appear when pictures are saved to the memory.

Just take a picture, any picture, and see what happens.

If you've reset and formatted the camera, what's most likely happened is that your memory card is corrupted; it tends to happen to lots of memory cards over and extended period of time. I'd try and get a new memory card and see if that works.

The new memory should work, but I think we are talking about the internal memory of the camera.

Yeah, sorry, I missed that the first time. It is possible to take out the internal hard drive, and cheap to get a replacement from Sony, but this is a lot of work for an older camera. You may just want to upgrade to the new H50.
