I am an amateur, and I am having problems taking action shots.

I change my ISO speed but still the pictures turn out blurry and grainy. This is especially true when I'm taking pictures in a gym. Everything turns out yellowish or bluish. What should I do?

There are a lot of adjustments you can make to improve the photos; some of them may require trial and error. The graininess is probably due to using a high ISO. Try kicking down the ISO a bit and increasing the shutter speed. The color balance can also be adjusted- look for the menu in your camera that talks about saturation, change your white balance, and do some experimenting. If you're desperate, you can always put the camera in Auto mode when you really need to get the shots and until you learn how to use all the controls.

Adjust your white balance for yellow blue thing. I've had good luck using an external flash and using manual adjusting your lens. all your settings will probably be manual. test your shots alot before you need to get your money shots
