(JB BROWN - 1/12/07)First off, I love this camera. I've used the camera on an almost daily basis for over a year. I'm in sales, and to be able to take, then print for clients in advance, has been a very valuable tool. Outstanding pictures, as long as the sun is behind or above you. The picture you see is definitely the picture you get. The camera has primarily been in my pocket, and handled the abuse fairly well. I suggest a case, though. Learn from my mistakes!
The "Cons": Camera does not easily connect to printer, card removal is required. (That means handling a card the size of a dime each time you print.) No protection for monitor, easily scrached. Might be a lil less expensive, now, I paid $400, from Best Buy, a year and a half ago. The internet price is $300 as of 1-12-2007, and that's without a memory card (about $70 bucks). One big problem, I've had is due to the amount of usage I have, if you don't buy the insurance and have problems beyond warranty, you're almost buying a throw-away camera. By that, I mean, the cost to repair (flat rate) at Sony is $181 + shipping, call it $200. You can buy a new one for about $100 more. You decide
