i'm having trouble uploading pictures onto my computer using the memory stick adaptor.

i'm using a memory stuck duo adaptor. once i click my computers and i found the dsm folder.once i open that, the pictures aren't visible. when i double click on the pictures it says unknown format, unable to open.

any idea how i can change that so i can load the pictures onto my computer?

What type of "adapter" are you using? I would say the best bet is to use a computer that has a memory card reader built in (or just buy a memory card reader for <$20). If you're using the adapter that came with the camera, you may need to update the drivers/s

it's a sony memory stick duo adaptor. (MSAC-M2)

and the thing is, my computer does have a built in memory card reader and when i plugged in the sony memory stick into my computer, the folder itself opens. but the pictures aren't visible. a message saying that i have the wrong format or something pops up, unabling me to open the pictures.
