( - 3/24/06)I was stunned when i took the pictures in daylight. The pictures were true to life. But it performed very bad when the pictures were taken in low light. The pictures in low light contained round spots which were very disturbing. The pictures look great on the lcd but when it is transferred to the computer there is a remarkable loss of clarity and brightness. But if u r planning to take pictures in daylight it is worth going for.You can zoom the pictures to its maxm and yet u can notices fine details.I used to enjoy while counting my skin -holes on my face.On whole,I think its performance is brighter in daylight and darker in darklight
