Good General use Camera but not rugged and poor repair service
(David Bir - 8/16/06)I have owned the DSC-T9 for about 90 days and have gotten only about 14 days of use. The LCD screen went blank. Precision Camera, the company used by Sony for their warren ty repair said the camera had impact damage and Sony would not honor the warren ty. 55 days after sending the camera for repair Precision Camera is still awaiting parts for repair. I am convinced that the camera can not withstand normal use since the camera was never dropped or banged about.
