Well, its possible that the LCD screen came disconnected, or just went out after extended periods of use. If its white, I doubt the bulb in the back went out, probably the LCD itself went out. Try taking pictures and see if they come out ok (by plugging the camera into the computer). If they do, its an LCD problem, and you can get it replaced, if they don't its a CCD problem, which may be covered even if the camera isn't under warranty. Let us know what you find, and we can try helping you further.
