You can get drivers here. As for specific software to download the pictures, you really don't need any. A USB card reader is much easier. Costs about $20 and will cause your sd card to be read as a drive on the PC. Then it's a simple drag and drop to the desktop.

As for photo software, two choices. Recommend a free application called Picasa from Google. It's a great tool for managing your photographs, cleaning up red eye, and even printing them. If you want something a little more robust, there's Adobe's Photoshop Elements. It's about $80 ($60 after rebate from Amazon) but is a great tool for photo manipulation and does about 75% of the things it's more expensive older brother Adobe Photoshop can do.

But what concerns me here is that if you bought this camera new and it didn't come with software, was it also missing the manual, warranty card, and other important accessories? If so, you may have bought something that is considered "grey market" merchandise.

If something is gray market, it means that - although you may have gotten a great deal on it - it doesn't come with a warranty that will be honored here in this country. Which means if something goes wrong with the camera, you may have to either send it to the country of manufacture to repair or pay to have it fixed yourself. Check to see if you have an international warranty to be safe.

Be warned.
