REPAIRS- PROBLEMS WITH SCREEN?

my littel DSc- U50 no longer will show images on it's screen......IS there anywhere it can be checked to see if it is repairable....?

Sony's repair centers are just about everywhere. However, with the average cost of a camera repair around $180, it may cost more to repair than it is really worth. The rule of thumb is that if the estimate for repair is north of 50% what you paid for it, you're better off taking that money and buying a newer and upgraded model.

thanks james- I am in Ireland though so US not really useful.. i have other cameras but the size of the DSC-U50 is what I like about it- I ouwl dnot mind paying a bit for it if it could be fixed. I will call in to one of the sony centres here and see if there is anything they can do

Course, you can also check on EbayUK for a replacement. That may be cheaper as well.
