The E61 is a lens error - pretty much every manufacturer has a version of this problem; I think E61 in particular is related to a focus problem caused by the lens being out of alignment. Is there a reset button on the bottom of your camera? If there is, take out your memory card, turn the camera on, and then push that reset button. Turn the camera off then back on again.
If you google "E61 error Sony camera" you'll find lots and lots of people with the same problem, and many recommend things like a few gentle palm whacks to the lens. It's really up to you if you want to start whacking your camera, but if it's still under warranty, I don't recommend it. On the other hand, this is a pretty old camera, so the cost of repair may be not worth it and it might be time to replace it anyhow, in which case, you might be willing to try some of the home remedies people have come up with.
