Disappointed in long term - will go to Panasonic or Canon
( - 5/15/06)Nice LCD display, OK photos, but... Sticking lens cover!- have to jiggle with finger most times I power up (build-quality issue), poor auto white-balance so hues are often off as in bluish or yellowish; absolutely terrible low-light performance with no image stabilization, (useful for concerts or evening shots without tripod; 3x zoom is pretty useless - but that's my fault!
Don't buy a Sony camera - Canon and Panasonic are much better and will give better results (though their upcoming SLRs should be pretty good as they bought Minolta for that end
