focus problems
( - 4/7/06)I've had this camera for a couple of months now, and have taken hundreds of photos. I owned a Kodak DC3400 2MP before this, and I have to say that I'm not that impressed with this Sony camera. It has focus problems, 3/4 of my images are out of focus. I struggle with which setting on the dial to use (because none of them resolve my focus problem), and the picture quality is not as good as the 5 yr old Kodak!! What is everyone talking about??? Other times, the Sony takes about 5 seconds to take a shot between shots. I take about 2 or 3, then its delay-ville... up to 2-3 seconds - I just keep my finger on the "take a picture" button, and it takes forever. I use the auto-everything dial setting most of the time, and the people icon setting some of the time. The shutter lag time is incredible - I am using a memory stick pro 256Mb stick. LCD screen is good, but why the faster response times when you are shooting a movie, than when you are taking a picture? Other than this, when it gets it right - the Sony is fine. It's the other issues that make it frustrating.
