mostly good

This is my second digital camera from Sony. I had the DSC-P92 before this one and liked that for a 5 MP camera. Bought this one because I had taken over 6000 pictures with other one and thought it would be nice to upgrade to the better Carl Zeis lens and more MP's. Overall I don't see much difference from my older camera as for the picture quality. I do get several blurred pictures and sometimes light spots appear in my images indoors. The video mode is much better on 640 fine mode, but I only get about 4 minutes with 256mb card. This camera is much faster: turning on/off and sending the pictures to the computer than my previous digital. I'm taking this one back and trading it for the Sony DSCH1 and hope I will get better results from that. It's not a bad camera, but I'm not pleased with how little the picture quality has been improved and I'm not sure it has.
