I have Sony DSC-W7 but cannot find the feature to take pictures freezeing a movement like in sports

In other digital camera I had a feature, like running small man, so that it will freeze the movement of my targetted image

Use the multi-burst mode...works greats for sports! Go to the "P" mode, go to menu, use the > button until you find multiburst.
