Sony Cybershot H10 Details
Editors' Comments
The Sony Cybershot H10 is the company's latest attempt to capture the "fun zoom" market, which typically includes a large zoom range (10x in this case) and lots of features intended to make it easy for users of all skill levels to get great shots, be it shooting from the hip or carefully composing each frame. The 8.1-megapixel sensor is ample enough, and the camera offers full manual exposure modes for those feeling adventurous. For point & shoot users, there are plenty of assists, including optical image stabilization, a digital range optimizer (which tones down highlights and brightens dark areas to produce a more evenly-exposed picture), and advanced face detection. Overall, this is a good, safe pick for the semi-serious amateur.
