When I take it picture it seems to always be in motion like a movie instead of a still shot. How do I get it not to take movies?

I click half way down like it said and then finish the click. But I still get movies. When I go to load on my computer I get tons of little pictures of the same shot with a little difference. I had to cut out one of those to make a single picture. How do I stop it from making movies and get one clear picture?

Hi Anne,

I'm a little confused with your description here. You say that when you go to load the pictures on your computer, you still get movies. Do you mean that you actually get movie files that you can play in, say, Windows Media Player? Or is it more like a still image of a film strip, with a series of still images lined up next to one another?

What program are you using to view the files, and what mode (on the mode dial) are you shooting in with your H2?

Thanks.

I load it on my computer a Mac with iphoto. It looks like a film strip. The setting on the camera is the little green camera: auto adjustment.
We just got the camera at Christmas and haven't used a lot.
Thanks for any help.

I think you have it on burst mode. It's the button right next to the "focus" button in front of the dial.
