is this a design flaw, firmware issue or a repair issue? pix are bright in camera, but dark on computer.

i noticed that pictures were turning out dark recently. i tested all the various settings, with and without flash at 0EV, keeping track of the exposures in the camera. the images all looked overexposed in the camera, however, once transfered to the computer, all the images were well underexposed. has any one else experienced this? is it a design flaw with the H2 or is it a firmware problem or is it a need for repair?

Have you tried resetting the camera? There should be an option to do so under the Setup menu.

Hi Brenda,

thanks for your answer. i did reset the camera and ran the tests again. unfortunately, the images still look brighter in the camera than on the computer by about one stop or so.
