Hi Vasu,

Seems like you might need to reinstall the drivers for your H2. Unfortunately, you can't get them from Sony's website, so unless you have the CD that came with the camera you're out of luck there.

This message board thread contains one person's solution to a similar problem, which might work for you.

I'd recommend unplugging any other USB devices you might have connected and then reconnecting your camera to a different USB port. Sometimes there are strange conflicts between USB devices for no apparent reason.

You might also consider getting one of those 8-in-1 memory card readers. They're very cheap and are an easy workaround for issues like this if you can't find a better solution.

Good luck!

Thnx Ben. I have the Original cd with me and reinstalled the drivers 3 times. Also Im sure tat No other usb is left connected to the pc. I did checked many users of H2 conplaining this. May be u r right. I need to get a card reader for this problem. I doubt, how far these readers are reliable. Will they suit to my pc for sure??

Vasu,

Card readers are pretty universal. You shouldn't have any problems.

Good luck!
