The easiest and fastest way to download is to buy a card reader (unless your PC already has one built in). They cost $15-25 for a good one, $30-35 for a better one, and $40-49 for a best one. This allows you to take the card out of the camera and place it in the card reader which is connected to your PC via the USB port, preferably a USB 2.0 port since the USB 1.1 ports are really slow. In addition, I recommend downloading Picasa2. It is free complements of Google. You can find it here http://picasa.google.com/download/index.html. Picasa2 will organize your photos and also has some nice functions such as red-eye removal, exposure adjustments (especially nice for those pics which came out too dark), and other cute tricks. Picasa2 is really easy to learn to use.
If you want to download the pictures right now without having to go buy a card reader, you will need the USB cable that came with your camera. First download Picasa2, then connect your camera to the USB port with the cable. Click on the import button on Picasa2 located in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Select your pics to import or choose import all and you're off and running. If you have any difficulty let me know.
