Just bought the Sony H5...having a small problem...

when I took pics indoor yesterday, the first shot of family would take with the flash and be fine...if I tried to take another shot of the same posing people, the flash would not fire and a pic would not take. I would have to put the flash down and wait a while to take another shot which made it difficult during the holiday. Can I remedy this problem? Thanks!

This is most likely the camera's natural flash recycle time- the amount of time it takes for it to get ready to take another flash shot. With this camera (and many others) this time can run into several seconds. The only real way to prevent it is to avoid situations where you have to use intense flash. The more light in the room, the weaker the flash will need to be and thus the quicker it will recharge. Hope that helps!
