CAMERA SAY'S TURN OFF AN ON AGAIN

THAT'S ALL IT SAY'S IS TURN OFF AN ON AGAIN / IV'E CHANGED BATTERIES / IT SAY'S ACESS THEN BEEPS A COUPLE OF TIMES THEN SAY'S TURN OFF AN ON / THE CAMERA WASS GIVEN TO ME FOR THIS REASON / WHAT CAN I TRY ???????

Well, you can try resetting/reinitializing it, update the firmware, and try more powerful batteries (they may be using underpowered cells - you need batteries with an mAh of at least 2500). But it may just need to be repaired. And frankly, at the age of the camera, it may cost more to repair than it's worth.
