I got the sony cybershot 2.1 mega pixels for Xmas and the battery door is not cloing tight so i cant get any power. Please help. Thanks

I try to tape it but yet it will eventually open, and its hard to press in the door and take photos at the same time. I think the spring in the hinge is loose or something, when I try to close the battery door, I dont hear the click. Please advice. I got this as a Xmas gift and it was working super until this suddenly happened. I'm a senior citizen and my son gave me this camera. Help!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you just got it for Christmas, I'd be taking it back. The good news is that if the spring is coming lose, that's an easy warranty fix. Use your warranty while you can.

I have the same camara Sony Cybershot 2.1 the problem with my camara is the memory Slot don't work when I insert the memory stick don't go all the way so I can close the door can this be fix tank.
