Editors' Comments

The Sony Cybershot S700 isn't anything to get excited about, but instead a simple, dependable point-and-shoot camera that will give novice users some room to grow. The 7.1 megapixel sensor is a good start, as it will provide large and detailed images right from the get-go, and the built-in guide that appears on the LCD screen when you select a feature explains what everything does for those unfamiliar with the finer points of digital photography.
