Memory Stick PRO duo inserted without adaptor

I just received the Sony S700, took some test photos, and inserted the Memory Stick PRO Duo into my computer without the adaptor (our other Sony camera uses a larger memory stick and I wasn't thinking...). Is there any way to get it out of the slot?

Never mind! I just read a tip where if you carefully insert the adaptor open-end first, it may slide over the stick allowing you to slowly pull it out. I had to gently lift the card up with one side of tweezers first, then it allowed me to insert the adaptor and voila! Out it came. Phew.

I had this same problem a while back but unfortunately I tried to pull the memory stick out of the card reader slot. It ended up tearing off the top plastic part of my card so a 4Gb memory stick duo went to waste!!
