Camera came with AA/LR6/AM3 batteries. Can I use my Pre-charged Eneloop AA / HR6. Manual says use LR6 and my rechargeables say HR6. Not sure what the difference is. thanks.

I not certain either, but I would be really surprised if there is any real difference LR6 versus HR6.

Hi Roxanne,

The enelope precharged batteries will work fine as long as the camera can take AA batteries. Keep in mind that several manufacturers make pre-charged batteries so you don't necessarily have to buy Sanyo Enelopes. I have used Duracel precharged and Radioshack and they both work pretty well. The big advantage is that these batteries hold a charge a lot longer than normal AA rechargeables so you will not have to recharge your batteries as frequently! Regular NiMH batteries will lose all of their charge after 1 month (even if you don't use them) whereas the precharged can hold their charge for a year.
