This sounds like a glare issue with the lens. There might be some grime or dust on the front of your lens. You can get some camera lens cloths at any local camera store or RitzCamera.com. If that doesn't work, it might be an internal issue. You'll have to take the camera in to a professional to get it cleaned, if that is the case.
