Great for anything but closeups
(Tom Wrigh - 2/9/07)I never owned a digital camera before. This one has a great feel, and for anything other than extreme close-ups, it's perfect. I specifically bought it (salesman told me it was the one for closeups!) for taking pictures of specimens at extreme closeup range, and you can't get close enough to take really clear pictures at close range, and the macro depth of field makes the picture come out VERY flat. For anything else though, I actually love the quality feel of this little workhorse.
