I've downloaded pictures onto my computer before, and i just plugged my cybershot in and it says, "USB Mode mass storage- memory stick". what do i do?

it's a sony cybershot, i used the usb cord, plugged it in and nothing came up as it usually does when i download pictures.

Check your hardware manager under USB settings. If there's an "!" in a yellow triangle, delete it, reboot and Windows will reinstall it. Then, you can give it another go. I's also try downloading any firmware updates or drivers from SONY to update it. Then reset it.
