The Canon PowerShot A510 may look like more of the same, but under the hood there are some fundamental changes that make this camera a winner! The biggest change is the switch from CompactFlash to Secure Digital memory, which makes the PowerShot A510 substantially smaller (13 percent, to be precise) than previous A-Series cameras. Another space saver is the reduction in the number of batteries needed - while the A75 took four AAs, the A510 only needs two. A host of new features, like a hold switch that keeps the last picture taken on the review screen, and a 4x optical zoom, make the A510 a great choice for casual photographers.
