Editor's Review

Canon's latest camera line puts the photographer in the picture with a second lens on the back. The camera will also compile several files into one with the Story Highlight feature. While we find the idea interesting, what's more enticing about the Canon N100 is the large 1/1.7" sensor and bright f1.8 lens. The sensor and lens combo should result in excellent low light shots compared to other compacts, and with a price tag of $350, it's not as crazy expensive as many advanced point-and-shoots. Introduced at CES 2014, there's a few details yet to be announced, like burst speed and the inclusion of manual modes, so we'll hold out on the final grade until then, but we're expecting a solid consumer camera.

Canon PowerShot N100 Reviews

Canon PowerShot N100 Reviews by Digital Camera-HQ Users

Top quality optics, dependability, and convenience of use are just some of the reasons that customers choose Canon digital cameras. One of the top makers of digital cameras in the world today, Canon has attained a reputation for creating some of the best digital cameras and digital SLRs available on the market. Canon cameras are inevitably on the camera wish list of any consumer that desires a high quality camera. Then it should come as no surprise that Canon has won PC Magazine's Reader's Choice Award for Service and Reliability repeatedly and camera models are reviewed quite favorably on a regular basis.

Canon is not generally a cheap brand by any means. In spite of this, Canon digital cameras have achieved the best buy status. This proves that you get great value for the extra money. Within the past few years, Canon begun releasing several types that are more inexpensive, without cutting quality. The Canon PowerShot A1200 is one such camera. The A1200 has a small optical viewfinder which makes it easier to shoot outdoors as well as AA batteries, as opposed to most other models that can are available at this low of a price.

The Powershot A series, the SD or ELPH series compact point-and-shoots, and the Rebel consumer dSLRs such as the T4i are just a few examples of Canon digital cameras that have highly praised across the board. The majority of Canon camera customers and aficionados are attracted by the quality of the design, convenience and the amazing quality of picture offered by these digital cameras. The Canon enthusiast compacts you will find in the G and S series cameras are among the best Canon digital cameras available. The advanced digital camera market has been dominated by these models for quite some time, being great for anyone who is in the market for something pocketable, regardless of their level of experience. For instance, the Canon PowerShot G15 boasts an LCD screen that swivels, a 12 megapixel sensor and an extremely fast lens ideal for low light photography.

GPS and WiFi are features that Canon has been adding to its mid and high-end models recently to keep their cameras specifications right on the cutting edge. These better specifications differentiate the upper models from lower-end cameras, but mean that they also have a higher price tag. When buying a Canon digital camera, experts recommend that you thoroughly read Canon digital camera reviews and ratings and consult other users in order to pick the right model.
