Canon PowerShot S230

Editor's Review

The pocket-sized Canon PowerShot S230 is the 3-megapixel member of Canon's popular digital ELPH line. Offering a wider range of shutter speed and more manual controls than the 2-megapixel S200, this PowerShot should appeal to resolution-hungry shooters who value greater control over their pictures. Its compact size and image quality win it Digital Camera HQ's endorsement as an ideal camera for snapshooters on the go.

Broken again (Jack Snodgrass — 12/21/2009)

This camera has a problem with the display and Canon knows it. It was repaired once before and now the camera has the same issue and is unusable. This is a badly built camera and I would not recommend it to anyone.

A good all around camera: Canon S230 (Stanley Asada — 09/22/2006)

I feel I can safely say that the Canon S230 is a good camera. Not being a photo bug, I don't know if this is an "excellent" camera or not. However, it suits my purpose of taking family pictures which I plan to keep for the future.
