Casio Exilim EX-S3

Editor's Review

The Casio Exilim EX S3 is an ultra simple, ultra small camera designed for photographers who value portability over flexibility. With a fixed focal lens and no optical zoom, the Casio S3 offers very little photographic control, but its diminutive design (3.52" x 2.24" x .46") makes it easy to bring anywhere. Owners of the camera frequently note that while the S3's photo quality cannot rival that of more advanced cameras, its small size and large 2" LCD screen compensate for shortcomings in image quality.

Very Convenient, Stylish and User- Friendly (Daisy — 10/16/2006)

Casio's Exilim EX-S3, is an excellent pocket size, digital camera. Not only is ultra-thin and stylish, it is very easy to use. You have a variety of options and also great software that is included. Stamina Battery Power is long lasting, which is great for trips and special occasions- even daily use as well.

Flash not operational (h.l. Bottemiller — 08/28/2006)

I've taken many pictures and enjoy the ease of operation and quality of the pictures; although not the best, they are good enough for 4X6 enlargements. My problem is with he flash. Ihave not been able to use the camera in poor light and can find no place or retail outlet who can tell me where I can get the flash repaired. Can you help me??? I await your return EMail or telephone me at (510) 237-5885.

Casio Exilim EX S 3 was good Not anymore (drago — 08/13/2006)

IT sucks, Just had barely used it for less than a year bought it new, and I get SYSTEM ERROR.. Now casio wants me to pay to have it fixed pssh. Images are blurry, movies only 30 seconds, and Battery dies too fast, I mean way too fast. It has too many limitations, the digital zoom is useless just causes more blurriness. Bad pictures in the dark and fuzzy ones (basically if you want a good picture you have to take 5 as most of them come out bad). Basically the only thing your getting out of this is its small, and your camera dying on you, time to movie on to a different camera.

Excellent Camera (anonymous — 07/18/2006)

I've had the EX-S3 for some time now. And I haven't found, based on specs anything better or smaller. Out of 3.2 Mega Pixels I can print on my Kodak 8500 Thermal Pro Printer a VERY good 8 x 10. Photo Quality. My other digital is a fully equipped NIKON D-100 with all kinds of lenses and gadgets, but most of the time I just drop the CASIO in my shirt and go...

Fantastic Little Camera (anonymous — 07/18/2006)

Like most ppl say its images aren't the best, but you don't buy it for that, you buy it for its amazingly small size, for its size its superb and image quality is higher than expected, battery life is long, and camera is ready to shoot extremely quickly.
