I have nothing further to add, mostly positive. The only problem is that the camera "is eating my batteries". If i compare it to my other compact-model, "Canon A480", i can use only half amount of snaps with my Fuji compared to the Canon.

I am impressed with the features, design, and feel of this camera for the money. I actually found this camera brand new on sale for $69.99. This price is lower than any I have seen for this model. Meijer stores had it on sale. I shopped other brands and stores and close price ranges. I shopped Wal-Mart and Best Buy and they had "Nothing" that could beat this camera for the money. I shopped price ranges at $89.99 to $199.99. This camera more than holds its own at $69.99 on sale. The quality stands in the range of cameras from $109.00 to $129.00. This camera even gives some in the range of $199.99 a run for there money. Regular price for this camera is usually $79.99 to $89.99. This camera is loaded with features. 10.2 mpixes. 2.7 LCD. 3x zoom. face focus technology. video, and much much more. The camera has a fine rich double vaneer silver finish that looks good and feels good in your hand. No one will look at it and say cheap camera. If you are looking for a camera in the low end range that has much superior quality for the price than this is the one unless you are looking to buy in the $249.99 to $399.99 range -then for the money "This is the one". I bought a 4 gig card for $10.00 a case for $4.99 (batteries came with it) I bought 4 duracells fo $3.00. FOr $85.00 total I was hooked up. A usb cable came with it as well for down loading pictures to your computer. What else can I say.

This is an excellent camera because of its smart functions such as Panorama Mode , Scene recognition and 10 Mp which is sufficient for me ! it is my first fuji Camera!
And i think it is made for people who don't want to buy an expensive camera!
I liked it's design , It's photos and i realy loved it! I loved It's Videos !
You Can buy a 16Gb Memory Card with it!
but i have only 2 : SD cards.
i recommend it for anyone !

i have only had it overnight so far and its great. it has many settings to it. i think it could hold more pictures but otherwise its really good.

I bought this camera about a week ago, looking for a simple camera to capture happy snaps. At $98 AUD I did not have very high expectations as to the functionality of the camera, so to say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement.

This camera is packed with easy to use features and takes brilliant photos, raising it high above its competition within this price bracket. Battery life is quite agreeable, although I do recommend purchasing some high-drain NiMH batteries for that extended battery life. The 2.7" LCD screen is easy to see, both indoors and outdoors in the sunlight, and there is very little lag in transmitting the image from lens to screen. This is good as Fujifilm, like most other digital camera manufacturers, chose to omit a view finder, instead using the LCD screen to frame shots, in favor of creating a compact camera.

The camera's auto mode is very handy, and is able to adjust the camera's settings for optimal photographic performance. Another feature worth mentioning is the camera's manual-auto mode which is essentially auto mode, but with the added flexibility of being able to manually override a number of settings like white balance and exposure compensation.

My only gripes with this camera is the fact that the auto focus can have a little trouble finding a subject in telephoto mode. Also, the camera's face recognition technology can be fickle, and seems to have a noticeable effect on battery life.

All in all, this camera is an excellent little unit, and puts most other camera's in this price bracket in the shade. I highly recommend this camera to anybody who is looking for a happy snapper for those family moments, or anybody who just wants a simple, easy to use camera that takes a sensational photo.
