The easy-to-use Fuji FinePix F410 delivers great colors and good daytime images. With an all metal body and a square shape similar to the Minolta DiMAGE Xt, the F410 is a great "take-anywhere" camera that produces images that should please the novice photographer. Its high price compared to other 3-megapixel cameras may dissuade some buyers, however.

I want dates to come out on prints,have set to dpof,but when I leave them in for development,no photo shops seem to be able to print with date.Is there some other setting I should have!!!

Well, it sounds like you found the DPOF setting. So you turned the date ON. Have you marked the pictures you wanted for datestamping? If so, I'd consult your manual -- datestamping (and I'm completely guessing at this) may only work when connected to USB and printing. I would think marking the specific prints for datestamping would take care of the problem, though.

I thought by setting the DPOF for each individual frame,this would solve the problem,not so.Even when I view each frame I can see the date.But when I leave in for development, the date still does not show on their system when viewed or printed. Is it something to do with the software that the developers/printers are using and some are better than others?

I'm thinking that it is primarily for home printing on DPOF compatible printers and that to use a 1 Hour Photo, you'll need to alter the image directly via Photoshop or some other photo editor to get the date printed on it.

I agree with James. But, your computer should have the date stamp when you hover the mouse cursor over it. Date stamping manually is easy enough. So if you want to just develop the pictures elsewhere, just type the date right on the picture and save it to a memory card you take to develop. :)

Here's a utility called PhotoStamp ( kozasoft.com/ps/ ) that promises to automatically read the date of original picture from a JPEG file and places a stamp without modifying pixels outside the stamp area.

It also claims to process many images at a time and even remove a stamp later to restore original images.

YMMV, but it may be what you're looking for.

Well, without knowing what housing you have, it's dimensions, etc. It's rather difficult to offer any options.
