Fujifilm FinePix F660EXR
16MP EXR CMOS II 1/2 inch Sensor; 15x Optical Zoom Lens, 24mm wide-angle; 3.0 inches LCD; 1080p HD video at 30 fps with stereo sound; Optical image stabilization; Manual modes; Lithium-ion battery
Fujifilm continues its excellent F-series with the F660, F750, and F770 models. The EXR sensor is the selling point here; the user can choose one of three modes that favor high dynamic range, low noise, or high resolution. The low noise and high dynamic range modes reduce the resolution, yet truly improve image quality. Also included are manual, aperture priority, and shutter priority modes. The F660 is essentially the same camera as the older F550, with the addition of h.264 HD video recording and no GPS. Our recent review of the F770 reveals that Fujifilm's EXR sensor is among the best on the market, yet be warned usability still remains a big concern with these models.
