Kodak EasyShare M893 Comments & Questions (write your own!)
eliminar el controlador de la cámara, reinicie y dejar Win7, vuelva a instalarlo. D / L, el piloto más reciente en primer lugar sin embargo. O bien, utilice un lector de tarjetas USB. Mucho más fácil.
remove the camera driver, reboot and let win7 reinstall it. D/L the most recent driver first though. Or use a USB card reader. Much easier.
Resets are usually in the menu settings or via simply removing the batteries for about 10 minutes.
Réinitialise sont généralement dans le menu Réglages ou par la simple élimination des batteries pendant environ 10 minutes.
My recommendation is that you invest $10 in a USB memory card reader. Plug your SD card into it and your pc will read it as a drive. Then it's a simple drag and drop onto your mac and you can use any program you want to manage your photos. Then delete the photos USING THE PC and you're back to shooting pictures.
And then, for accessing the images on the Memory Card, I'd recommend a memory card reader and Picasa 2 by Google ( picasa.com ).
ps - yes I did try connecting the usb to the back of the pc. That didn't work either =(
Kodak is in a serious slump of late and the M893 is only just another of a series of disappointing designs.
As for battery life. You should get at least 120 shots out of a charge. But you should charge up the battery overnight to get a complete charge the first time. Then deplete it completely, then charge overnight again and deplete. Then you can charge it in a few hours with no worries about lost capacity. Also, make sure your battery and camera contacts are clean. If you find them smudgy, a pencil eraser can clean them right up.
Mind you, I'm not defending Kodak here. :)
In addition, any front USB ports away from the main USB ports in the back do not carry enough electrical power to charge the Kodak camera. You must plug the USB into your rear ports.

Worst camera I ever owned, And I have had many of them in my life. I only had it for a few months and did not save my sales slip. It will not re charge, got a second one did the same thing, now they don't carry this camera where I bought it so I guess I have just lost a hundred dollars. No more Kodak camera's for me ever again.

i bought this camera for around 125$ from target and the camera was a piece of crap! though target has a 30-day or 90-day warranty or whatever on their electronics it was useless because the camera started having defects after the 90-day mark and i just had to throw it out. when i turn it on it blinks for 5 seconds and shuts itself off. it doesnt stay charged regardless of how long i charge it. it's just a piece of SH*T and a huge waste of money. ive never been able to take any pictures with it cus the piece of crap wont stay on. VERY disappointing.

This was a really bad experience for me personally. This camera took nothing but bad pics. I was able to take only one good pic out of like 200 with this camera. The rest were all horrible..I either came out too pale or too dark and the quality is just bad..very grainy (like webcam quality) and I dunno why, makes me look like I have no face. Like it doesn't pick up your facial features well at all. If you have make-up on, the camera doesn't even pick up any of what you have on. I've had this same problem with other digital cameras I bought though. Maybe it's just this new technology crap b/c I've owned cameras way back in 2001-2002 webcam pics at that..that took way better pics then these digital cameras. I owned a Kodak Easyshare back in 2005 that took beautiful, perfect pictures and was thinking since this was a Kodak Easyshare as well, it would take similar pics but wow was I wrong! I wish I would have never purchased this. It's too bad the stores where I live don't allow you to test these cameras out before you buy them..otherwise I wouldn't have gotten this camera. The only good thing about this is that it's lightweight and the color I bought (purple) is pretty. That's about it though. If you're looking for professional, clear, beautiful pictures..please don't even think about getting this. You won't get anything good out of this particular camera and model. I regret buying it and you prob will too.
