Kodak arrived late to the digital camera party despite developing one of the first models in 1975, but by 2005 Kodak digital cameras had acheived the number one spot in US digital camera sales. Kodak carried out extensive consumer research and found that a lot of potential customers, especially women, enjoyed taking digital photos but did not enjoy the process of moving them to a computer. In response to this need, Kodak began to develop a collection of simple-to-operate cameras at prices that were inexpensive and to introduce a printer dock for printing photos from a Kodak digital camera right away. Despite the fact that Kodak announced recently it would no longer be developing digital cameras and would focus on printers instead, the more recent models are still sold at major retailers and have sought after functions for inexpensive prices.

1) Kodak EasyShare M583 Digital Camera- One of the smaller quality digital cameras out there, the EasyShare M583 measures 2.2" high by 3.8" wide and 1" deep, making it easy to carry in a pocket or a purse. 2) Kodak EasyShare Z5120 Digital Camera - The Z5120 isn't quite as cheap as the M583 but has a 26x optical zoom with a fast f2.8 lens at wide angle. More interesting is the inclusion of features like RAW, manual modes and image stabilization, making this the most inexpensive camera available that has such cutting edge attributes. It requires AA batteries as opposed to a lithium-ion, which means you'll find power anywhere you go as long as you don't care that the camera is slightly heavier.

3) Kodak EasyShare C123 - If you're in the market for a waterproof camera that's really easy to use, the C123 is a great value and is waterproof up to 10 feet. It doesn't come with any optical zoom and image quality could be much better, but if you need waterproof but don't want to pay for it this Kodak digital camera is a great option.
