Interestingly, Nikon lowered the number of megapixels in the P330 from the previous model, yet stepped up the image sensor size. Nikon also put a f1.8 lens in front of the larger sensor, and increased the aperture range—all signs that this model could be a contender for low light photography compared to similarly priced models. With RAW capture capability and manual controls, the P330 looks to be a reasonably priced advanced compact for those who want a little more control and quality to their images than the average point-and-shoot offers.
