Hey! You should know that Nikon has released a newer version of this product: the Nikon Coolpix S52c.
Nikon Coolpix S51c
Editor's Review
The Nikon S51c has since been replaced by the Nikon Coolpix S52c, also with wifi connectivity. Here's what we had to say about the s51c when it came out:
Here's something we haven't seen in a while: Wi-Fi. The Nikon S51c is pretty much identical to the S50, except it has wireless photo transfer, allowing you to move photos from the camera to your computer over a home Wi-Fi network. Is that worth the price bump? Probably not.

Nikon Coolpix S51c Comments & Questions (write your own!)
But understand that the average cost of a camera repair is around $180. As such, it may cost more to repair than it is really worth. The rule of thumb is that if the estimate for repair is north of 50% what you paid for it, you're better off taking that money and buying a newer and upgraded model.
This camera actually does connect to your home wi-fi network for easy download to your computer.

Specifically pinpoint the reply How it is possible ?
Sorry for being unclear, but your original question asked: "Is it possible."
How the wireless function works is through a wireless transmitter inside the camera that allows the user directly load to a "Picturetown" account through a public wireless location, or to your home computer through a personal wireless LAN. Settings to make this work in the camera are configured through supplied software from Nikon.
Andrew
This Nikon seems like a basic compact digital camera. The big differentiators are the slightly higher than average ISO settings (2000) which will help the camera perform better in lower light, but will add graininess. It does not have image stabilization or a lot of optical zoom though. You might look at cameras that come with these functions for some nicer options. If you want to stick with the Nikon line, you might try the Nikon S51c ( digitalcamera-hq.com/digita... ). It has the image stabilization function, the same resolution and a wireless photo transfer option over your home network. Good luck and happy shooting.

This camera does not have wireless capabilities, but the [url=digitalcamera-hq.com/digita... S51c[url] does. It works over a home wireless network, and I don't think it will hook up through Bluetooth. I have not heard of a camera that can do that yet.
Andrew
Glad we could help. If you feel we've answered your question sufficiently, please mark best answer. If not, we would be glad to further answer any other questions you might have. Good luck and happy shooting.

You can download the manual on the Nikon site here ( support.nikontech.com/cgi-b... ). As for software, you can also find it on the Nikon site here ( support.nikontech.com/cgi-b... ). I hope this helps.

Also, you are having difficulty finding the cable listed for your camera because it is so recently released (Aug 2007). One of the cables they list might work for your camera but the cable folks just haven't had time to test it out and get the information up on their web site. I guess they figure everyone gets a new cable with their camera so they don't hurry to get that information up on the site.
Best Wishes, Larry

This is the 3rd digital camera I have owned and I doubt I will ever leave Nikon. The shutter speed is amazingly fast which is great for kids! The zoom is wonderful, gets a little shaky when you go into "digital" zoom. But gets awful close! The options are amazing! Inside, outside, fireworks, museum, just to name a few! Not to mention, if you have a wireless network it automatically downloads to a online storage when you charge it! Only negative is that it runs on Nikon batteries and not regular, I've never had it die on me though, it usually holds for the day! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Its an amazing looking piece of kit i'll give it that the image quality is not the best but quite good . Its fairly simple without too many things to change around to get a perfect shot. My only real problem is using the my Picturetown website which still has problems working in the UK. Otherwise its an excelent point and shooter for the price

Ive really enjoyed this camera. It takes great quality photos, is compact enough that I can carry it with me anywhere. And the Video that it takes is surprisingly good. I bought it right before I deployed to Iraq and I have carried it with me everywhere. Im getting one for my girlfriend for christmas as she saw mine on leave and fell in love with it. The Wi-Fi I dont really use that often. But when I was home it worked well and dependable and I could transfer files while anywhere in the house.
