I spend hours attempting to get this piece of equipment to download images to a Windows XP computer. Installing and un-installing, reading the manuals, changing drive letters, etc. When I finally called and had to do all this work over again while with tech support, I was told that the camera was not compatible with Windows XP professional and I would need to purchase a card reader. I was assured that the camera would work with Windows 98. So back at work the next day - the camera is for work - I ran into the same problems. Calling tech support once again I went through all the trouble shooting procedures only to be told that the camera is not compatible with Windows 98 and I would need to purchase a card reader! All of the documentation states that the machine, with the accompanying software, will work with both operating systems. This is a blatant falsehood.
Both tech support people were patient and professional, but as a consumer I cannot help but believe that I was ripped off in purchasing this product when it cannot even be used to get the pictures to a computer with out purchasing additonal equipment!
