Editor's Review
Built with simplicity in mind, the 3-megapixel Olympus D-535 is designed for novice digital photographers who want a capable, easy-to-use camera. With a 3x optical zoom, the Olympus 535 is great for both indoor and outdoor photography, while preset scene modes, including portrait, landscape, and night scene, take the guesswork out of composing great shots. For photographers on the go, the 545's ultra compact body can slip easily into a pocket or bag.

Olympus D-535 Comments & Questions (write your own!)
You might try re-downloading the drivers for the camera. You can find them on the Olympus site ( olympusamerica.com/cpg_sect... ). If this doesn't work, I would recommend using a card reader ( amazon.com/Lexar-USB2%252e0... ) to transfer directly from your xD-Picture Card. Good luck and happy shooting.

I got this camera after I dropped my old Olympus D-360. It's OK, but I wish I had another D-360. This camera is easy to use and simple. Poor light performance is less than great.

When i first recived the camera it was everything i wanted. But while taking pictures it like to take its time, so if you're in a hurry, or if you're trying to take a picture of soemthing moving fast its not the best choice. It is a good camera, it takes clear pictures no matter how far zoomed you are. But I've recently had problems with mine working, it takes up batteries very quickly, so unless you get a rechargeable battery you'll spend more on them then you do the camera. But those are the only things that i've notcied with the camera

This camera is very compact and takes high quality pictures. It is very easy to use as well. The specifications provided on this website about the movie function do not appear correct. Movies can be taken, but sound cannot be recorded (as per the instruction booklet). Further, it is not compatible with Windows 98 (which I have) and requires at least Windows 98SE. I had to purchase a "card reader" that was compatible with Windows 98 to get the pictures to my computer. A very nice little camera.
