Don't touch this camera! It's a lemon! (Net — 01/12/2011)
This is the worse digital camera I've ever owned. Occasionally, it will take a decent picture - very occasionally. Not user friendly, takes blurry pics, terrible in low light, a long lag time... I had to send it away to be fixed after 2 weeks and the camera lens assembly was replaced, and it came back and still took awful pics (without the black lines through it however). Steer away from this - wish I'd known how useless it was prior to purchase, waste of time and money. Don't touch it!

3010 (marg — 12/15/2010)
Don't bother with this camera - anything is better than this disappointment. Wish I had never bought the thing. Terrible photos - poor quality / poor focus / can;t handle lower light / needs tripod all the time for any chance at a decent photo. Rubbish from Olympus

A awful camera - not worth buying. (Éamonn Ó Flannagáin — 07/26/2010)
I was only looking for a reasonable quality compact camera but the Olympus FE-3019 has turned out to be a load of junk. It seemed alright at first but has gone down hill rapidly. Pictures are blurred unless the light is excellent but the latest fault is that it goes into "Busy Mode" when trying to write pictures to the memory card. Most pictures have to be erased. I would not advise anybody to buy the the FE- 3010

A waste of money (Rosemary Kovachevich — 05/01/2010)
I am ery disappointed with this camera and would never recommend it. The photos are only sharp in perfect conditions and the colour is poor except in perfect conditions. A waste of money indeed and has made me nervous about buying another camera because I was led to believe it was a good purchase.

Frustating camera!! (Sanjay — 03/15/2010)
I got the camera as a gift. I started to use it with a great enthusiasm as it was a olympus product and had 12 megapixels resolution. but soon my feelings changed after i started to take pictures from it. The worst thing about it is the lighting. it takes horrible picture in bright light and also in the evening. changing the exposure value every time before shooting helps a little but not completely and it is frustating to do it everytime before shooting. I am afraid to show the picture to friends after shooting because of poor picture quality. I had used cannon and cybershot before and they are far better than this one.. my suggestion is to not go for this camera..

Waste of Money! (Jennifer Dorta-Duque — 02/01/2010)
This is a poor choice for dollars spent. EVERY single picture is blurry and after reading the entire manual and making adjustment's- nothing will fix it. I kept using it out of necessity and every time I get home and view pictures I have taken, I have to delete more than half of them due to the poor image quality. It also does not have the vibrancy in color that I have experienced with other cameras (canon). It does not take good pictures in the evening- so do not even attempt it. Often, it reflects the flash so that a huge blur will cover the image. I have never owned this brand before but it will definitely be my last.

I cant stand this camera. (Chelsea — 01/06/2010)

My parents decided to get me this camera for Christmas. I was excited until i started to use it. Almost ever picture is blurry and the stabilizer doesn't even work, and in half of my pictures the lighting is way off. All i have to say is that you would be better off not getting this camera.

Every picture I take is blurry (Thomz — 01/04/2010)

I've bought this camera with high expectations, because it's an Olympus, so normally great pictures... But I was wrong obviously. The camera is worthless, you can't take any picture that is worth showing someone, they are all blurry. Also the focus is very bad, if you focus on something specific, that's the object that will be the most blurry of all.

Disappointment (Brittany — 12/12/2009)

The Olympus Fe-3010 in my opinion was a waste of money. Every picture taken with it was blurry, the stabilizer doesn't work, and the lighting is horrible. Those beautiful pictures shown on the Olympus site are a lie and I don't recommend this camera. It's not a point and shoot camera and I hardly ever use it anymore. It's very frustrating and I hope that before you decide to purchase this camera, you read this review. Please, don't buy this camera. You could find one so much better.

I have to agree, this camera is worthless (I.R. — 11/10/2009)

I've tried every mode this camera has to offer and almost every picture was sub par. The stabilization feature did not work, almost every picture was blurry (still shots), I even tried to change shutter speeds and sports modes and each of those features created additional problems.
This is not a user friendly point and shoot camera. I cant imagine Olympus still has this model on the shelf. Other Olympus camera models, I'm sure, are fantastic but the fe-3010 is surely a disappointment.
I would be hard pressed to purchase another Olympus after this experiece.

FE-3010 - very disappointing camera (margaret — 10/05/2009)

I have always loved an Olympus and thought this was a bargain camera - but I am so disappointed - the picture quality is awful and it does not seem to be a handy point and shoot camera - I wish I had never bought this camera. Poor picture quality. Needs a tripod to improve the pic.
My best Olympus has been the c-770 - a few years old now, but a fantastic camera that has travelled everywhere with me and never missed a good pic

i own this (Don — 09/05/2009)

This is a great little camera for the money. The camera has a lot of features that make it easy to take great pictures. I have not had one problem with this camera since i have had it. I have used the camera in different lighting conditions and all of my pictures look great nice and clear and crisp. I would recommend this camera too any one that wants a small camera that will fit in their shirt pocket and takes great pictures.

Good Camera (Robert — 05/27/2009)

I got it as a gift, it takes very, very good pictures and is easy to learn. You will have to buy the mico memory card, if not it will only hold about ten pictures and will say full.

it lags! (Sally — 05/10/2009)

I've only had this camera for one day and after you take a picture it goes into "busy" mode, meaning it takes forever for the picture to save in the camera. I don't like waiting.
