Editors' Comments
The FE-47 is a cheap camera, that's for sure. We're not so sure how well it'll perform, if its predecessors are any indication. The FE-45 was the worst camera of 2009; the FE-46 was better, but not great. Hopefully the FE-47 is an improvement, but it's tough to ask for much from a $100 camera.

Absolutely no problems here, works perfectly.
(Thomas Hennis — 07/01/2010)
Even though Olympus is typically known for being bad about being "user friendly" and having clunky hard-to-navigate menus, this is NOT the case with this camera. Much to my surprise, the menus are very easy to navigate and come with on-screen help/tip baloons that tell you exactly what the function does. A very welcome and needed addition.
As for EVERYTHING else, Wonderful. Optics outperform other cameras in this class and with an 8GB SDHC card, it has the ability to store approximately 1000 pictures with every option set to the highest resolution available.
As far as bang-for-the-buck, you would be hard pressed to find a camera that would beat this one!

just can't take a good picture with this camera. Tried many settings of ISOs, scene modes, resolution from 5 to 14Mpix - results are terrible, jpeg compression it to high colors are blurred, auto focus takes to several second to get sharp picture, however not sharp as I expected for such a idiot camera. maybe this model is just broken. I am going to contact with a vendor service.
